My approach to lighting design is fueled by an intense passion for storytelling. Getting my start in theatrical performance at a young age has inspired me to pursue other means of creating the world we see on stage. Inspired by that collaborative storytelling effort, my design work and technical aptitude lend themselves expertly to pin-point direction or free-form creative independence. It’s a thrill to evoke emotion with color, light, and shadow; to shift the lighting, to pull focus or blend it seamlessly into the backdrop.

In my free time I enjoy, scuba diving, building keyboards, and creating worlds in table top roleplaying games.
